BnB AWARDING (Santa)

               The following day, the group went to the municipality of Santa to award BnB medicines to all the trainees who have attended the BnB Operators' Training last January at the People's Center in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.

               Mayor Jeremy Bueno welcomed the group and was very thankful for the opportunity given to his constituents.  He emphasized that the goodhearted Vice Governor generously gives to the people of Ilocos Sur particularly the constituents of Santa whatever he gets from the national government or from any other donors.  With this generosity, Santa need not to ask or beg for assistance, blessings kept pouring from the Vice Governor.  Vice Mayor Jesus Bueno seconded with the comment of his Mayor-Son.

BnB AWARDING (Narvacan)

               After several months, Vice Governor Jeremias "Jerry" C. Singson, newly promoted Assistant Secretary Jose Manuel Tuason and Mayor Edgardo Zaragoza finally turned-over BnB medicines to the BnB operators of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur last June 24, 2009.

               Mayor Zaragoza formally welcomed the event followed by a message of Governor Deogracias Victor "DV" B. Savellano read by Board Member and Committee on Health and Sanitation Chairman of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Gerry Lahoz.  Vice Governor Jerry Singson expressed his wholehearted gratitude for the realization of BnB outlets in the municipality of Narvacan.

BnB Pick Up

               OPCA ASec. Jose Manuel Tuason coordinated with the Center for Health Development (CHD-1) for the availability of medicines at the CHD.  With the completion of medicines needed, CHD contacted the Office of the Vice Governor and informed the ready medicines available for pick up.

               Vice Governor asked the assistance of Mr. Orlando Marino, an Italian Manager of Ilocos Sur Multiline for a truck to pick up the medicines at the CHD.  Generously, Mr. Marino has lent a truck to pick up 45 sets of medicines.  Each set consists of 5 boxes worth P25,000 of medicines.

               Last June 22, 2009, the truck with complete instructions from the Office of the Vice Governor went to pick up the medicines at the CHD.  At around 8:00 PM, the medicines were delivered at the residence of Narvacan Mayor and at 9:00 PM, the medicines were received at the Municipal Hall of Santa, Ilocos Sur.
